Convention Speakers:

Attending the Jackson’s Mill WV ARRL State Convention on August 23-25,
2019, will be Roanoke Division Director Bud Hippisley, W2RU, and Paul
Cianciolo, W1VLF.

Paul works in the Lab at ARRL as an EMC Engineer, and has prepared a
presentation titled; “Not your Father’s RFI.” In this
presentation, Paul will speak on modern day RFI interference, line
noise, grow lights, LED, switching power supplies, and solar power
systems. He will then compare these items to the relatively simple RFI
issues of 50 years ago.

For the DX Forum, West Virginia DX Association
member Jack Shirley, N8DX, will speak on
” Your 8th Area QSL Bureau.”
