T3ØGC, West Kiribati

This will be a 3-operator DX’pedition to West Kiribati. T30GC activity will be between 7 October 2019 and 23 October 2019. Operators: Stan (LZ1GC), Karel (OK2WM) and Mitko (LZ3NY).

Western Kiribati (T3Ø) is still so wanted in all the World – No. 68 (Mixed mode) in Most Wanted List on Clublog as well as No. 57 on Top Band. The goal for this DX’pedition will be to make more QSOs with radio amateurs from different continents!

The activity will be from Tarawa Atoll, Western Kiribati – IOTA OC – 017. The QSO target is 20,000 – 25,000 QSOs depending of the propagation.
Rigs: TS-480/SAT, K3, and IC-7300 plus high power amplifiers. Antennas: two 160/40/80 Verticals, two 40 to 10-M + WARC multiband GP’s, and one HexBeam on 20 to 10-M plus WARC.

The activity will be on all HF bands (160/80/60/40/30/20/17/15/12/10-M), on CW, SSB, RTTY in non-stop mode (24/7).
